  • One: The heart of the matter, the present environment, or the primary factor.
    • Pentacles: racticality, security, material concerns, Earth, nature, wealth
    • Ace (1) of Pentacles: Theme of Suit. As with all of the aces, this card represent a brand new practical situation. This beginning is often unclear as the aces are too preliminary, and the background of the card is gray (uncertainties).
  • Two: The Opposing factor, a factor for change, a secondary or reinforcing factor.
    • Major Arcana: Unique
    • Magician (I) : Major Arcana Action, Consciousness, Concentration, Personal power, Practicality, Energy, Creativity, Movement, Precision, Conviction, Manipulation, Self confidence, Being objective, Focusing, Determination, Initiative
  • Three: The root cause, the unconscious influence, the deeper meaning, the unknown factor.
    • Swords: Intellect, thought, reason, justice, truth
    • King (14) of Swords: Practical, assertive, strong, mature, masculine representation of suit's themes.

    • Five (5) of Swords: presents a different aspect of a suit. The figure in the foreground suggests victory, potency, and ample preparation or confidence. Also suggests unwilling or unnecessary contributions from losing parties. The ragged-looking sky implies a torn celestial plane.

    • Cups: Spiritual experience, emotions, inner feelings
